MP backs biodiesel tax break campaign

Liberal Democrat MP Andrew George is backing a project to keep tax breaks for companies who produce biodiesel.
Producers converting cooking oil into biodiesel presently take advantage of a 20p differential but that is because of end next April.
The St Ives MP, who leads the Lib Dem Environment Team, has been satisfying with the UK sustainable .
Mr George said "a number of small companies in Cornwall currently earn money from used cooking oil".
He included: "In order to be able to get this sort of market going it does require just a little bit of lift which comes in the type of tax foregone."
Biodiesel is a mix of standard diesel, rapeseed and veggie oils.
